I was going to write a bit of a rant about using group texts to wish Merry Christmas or Happy New Year. After pondering it for a while, I decided against it. I wondered, "if I think it's absolutely pointless, to the point of being hilarious, there must be some people that think the exact opposite-- it's a great and convenient way to stay in touch. A lot of those people are my friends and I should consider myself lucky to have them and that I was in their thoughts for at least one Blackberry wheel scroll-click."
